Any point of contact can be considered a common space, including not only our physical environment, but common references (e.g. values or social norms), virtual spaces and mental spaces. These build imagined communities where different individualities converge and are subordinated to concepts and conventions that manage our common wealth, shape our actions and influence our relationships to the other. Art, politics, ethics, science can all be considered spaces.
This project reflects on the dissolution of these spaces and its boundaries in our search of complete individuality, the void as a symbol of our times and the resulting incapacity to establish relationships with each other due the loss of common ground.
